Today, is one of those days where I can't get my mind to quiet down. It is literally going at warp speed. The next couple of months are going to be very busy ones and I honestly don't mind. But, with work picking up, this would be the time that other things in life pick up as well.
For example, in October my baby girl turns 3 years old. I really want to do something special for her birthday. She is very into Curious George right now. So, I think we are going to have a Curious George Party. My home is too small, grandma's house not kid friendly. So this means I have to find a venue that can acommodate kids and adults of 50+ and not charge me an arm and a log. Now, I am sure you would think that would be an easy task. But, it is not. I spent the larger part of the morning, trying to find something that would accomodate both my theme and my group of people. But, either the price is cheap and you can only have their Caterer/ Cake etc, or the price is astronomical and I would not need that much room for what I am trying to plan. The good thing about all this is I have almost two months to work on getting all that together...
Secondly, I have a HUGE PROJECT, that I am working on. I am keeping it under raps but this could be the ticket for me. The hard part abouta project like this is that you have to make others believe in it the way you do. Which means that your numbers have to match, and your projections have to have something to compare them to. It is very intimidating just the process itself, but I truly believe in it. Now, if we can get the group of investors we have line up to believe in it as well. It could be the start of great things, and maybe even allow me to finally say GoodBye to "Old-Faithful[DCSS], and pursue my real dreams!!
Then there are the various PTSA[Parent Teacher Student Association], commitments that I have to complete this year and the hours of Parent Participation that I have got to get in. While potty training my daughter, working with her on her Speech Therapy, Scheduling her Tympanostomy Tube Surgery, and still trying desperately to find time for me...
So, that being said as much as I would love to just REST.. I must I must.. I must keep moving.........
I guess - "I'll sleep when I die....."
